In late January or early February, we celebrate India and Indian Culture with India Day (a.k.a. Republic Day of India). It is an event with many Indian songs & dances, Indian food, multimedia presentations about India and The India Quiz. And this time, we also have the play ABCD vs. DCBA. It is open to all (admission is free to members as well as non-members), but usually members get extra benefits, such as free food coupons. But for that, everyone must RSVP (link provided above) so that we can plan for their attendance.

The focus of India Day is modern India and everything that is Indian (and yes, that includes Bollywood). It is held at a performance hall and the main show consists of singing, dancing and drama performances. But the highlight of the show are a game show (India Quiz), a drama  (ABCD vs. DCBA) or a concert. We also have several performance entries from ICS members as well those from other Indian organisations.
