ICS puts "class" in classifieds

Thursday, July 28, 2011 - Jacksonville, FL - Indian Cultural Society of Jacksonville (ICS), the premier organization of Indian-Americans and people interested in Indian culture in North-East Florida, finally said enough is enough, and has taken matters into its own hands by creating a free classifieds service. ICS Executive Committee said, "We're putting 'class' in classifieds." To which, Justin Timberlake quipped, "Yeah, they're bringin' classy back! Er .. by the way, I've got this old couch from my Disney days. Any takers?"

Jokes apart, while there are many vehicles to get the word out regarding your for-profit ventures (ICS marketing being the best option in that category), there aren't many options for individuals who are just trying to offload a couch or looking for a dance group for their kid.

ICS Classified Ads are the perfect choice for ICS community members who want to sell/lend/donate or buy/borrow/accept something of low value on occasional basis. These ads show up on http://jaxics.org website's left sidebar. Any ICS member can create a classified ad. You can create one right now by clicking here.

But your ad will not be published automatically. The jaxics.org webmaster will look at it and publish it if they deem appropriate. Once published, they will show up in the left sidebar.

Please note that ICS reserves the right to decide what gets published and what doesn't. Also, we reserve the right to edit the information you enter (mainly for correctness, appropriateness, formatting etc.) The following won't get published:

  • Commercial items (goods or services) from for-profit ventures. Please consider using paid ICS marketing for that.
  • Anything of high value.
  • Anything considered inappropriate (as determined by jaxics.org webmaster, without giving reason).

And finally, the person who creates a classified ad is fully responsible for the content of the ad as well as the transaction that results from it. ICS takes absolutely no responsiblity in it. We are doing this only as a free service to the community.
